new creation!
I made one of the little board books from Stampin Up into an address book for my daughter for graduation. I used instructions from another blogger...I'll have to publish the link later, because I forgot her name...Sorry!
It was really easy using her instructions...It turned out great! I added a little pocket on the inside cover for stamps. Also, she printed out the pages from the board book on her printer. I just used colored paper and printed pages on a copier and monoadhesived (is that a word? LOL!) to the pages in the book. It was fun to do this...I did one also for my younger daughter and may do more!

Simply Scrappin cards...
I love the simply scrappin kits to use for quick cards! I made some with the In Full Bloom kit, and they were so quick, yet they look so nice! All you need is one kit, and a few word stamps and a black ink pad and you're all set!
And speaking of In Full Bloom....the stamp set is being retired! I can't believe it! The Stampin Up retired list was just released. You can get it at their website, so you can decide what sets you absolutely have to have! As you probably know, they are coming out with a new catalog that will have the fall/winter stamps in it. So, it sounds like with all these retired sets, there will be a ton of new sets to choose from in the new catalog.
So, guess I'd better get my catalog marked with all the retired sets so I know what I HAVE to have before it's too late!
Great news!
Cambria Turnbow posted on her blog about Stampin Up's customer survey panel. She provided a link, and I applied, and was accepted! All you have to do is fill out a survey online about Stampin Up products a couple times a month, and quarterly they will send you a 'goodie box' for doing it! Free stuff from SU! who could pass that up?!

Not the best time for this....
Our computer crashed. We lost everything. All my pictures of my stamping creations, all our pictures of the dogs as puppies...it's all gone. So, I guess we will just start over! I'm sure we have some of them in other places, but it's no fun to have to start over!

My favorite colors are in this card!
I recently did a card swap using the Sellabration SU stamps. I used the Big Blossom stamp, and 'kissed' it to the Canvas background stamp to give it a little texture. I love hot pink, bright yellow, neon green and turquoise together. It just makes me feel happy, so I do alot of cards in these colors. The smile is from the Be Happy set, and I mounted it in the center with stampin dimentionals to raise it. I also used a stampin wheel for the background on the green. I think this makes a great spring/summer card for a pick me up or just to let someone know you are thinking of them!

It's almost that time again!
Last year my nephew and a boy from our youth group both graduated, and I made cards using the SU Tassel Time set. This year my daughter is graduating. I'll probably make her a card similar to this, along with some others. I really like this set. The cards you can make are quick and easy, but they still look like you put some effort in to them. Wow...it seems like just a few months ago that I made this and it's been a year!
I used brilliant blue cardstock and ink and also bashful blue. I use mainly Stampin Up supplies and stamps for everything I do. I have a great rep--well, actually I have two great reps...one local, and one who is the list owner for an online group I'm on! Between the two of them, I don't have the time or money to buy other stamps! LOL! That's not necessarily a BAD thing...

Stamp club creation
Tonight I went to our monthly stamp club. We made this cute, simple Easter card. It looks alot better in person, because it is made with a shimmer white cardstock, so it is simple, yet elegant. The little basket is made using 3 different punches. It was really very simple, but it looks so nice and fresh!

Welcome to my new blog!
This is the lunchpail I decorated a few months ago. I used leftover wrapping paper from my daughter's birthday. I love the color combination, and found ribbon to match. I keep alot of the cards I made along with cards that are sent to me from swaps or as RAKS. I'm pretty proud of this, because for once I stamped something that I didn't give away!
